Prof. Yuxin Peng

Peking University

Peng Yuxin, second-level professor of Peking University, Boya distinguished professor, IEEE/CCF/CAAI/CIE/ CSIG Fellow, National Jieqing in 2019, National Jieqing's continued funding in 2025, National Leading Talent of 10,000 People in 2019, Young and Middle-aged Leading Talent of Science and Technology Department in 2018, and Chief Expert of 863 Project. He is an expert in the overall expert group of the key project of the national key R&D plan "Social Governance and Scientific and Technological Support for Smart Society (Safe China)", an expert in the "Artificial Intelligence 2.0" Planning Expert Committee of China Academy of Engineering, the director of the Expert Committee of China Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Alliance, and the vice chairman of China Image Graphics Society and Beijing Image Graphics Society. His main research interests are multimedia analysis, computer vision and artificial intelligence. The first finisher won the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award in 2016 and the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Institute of Electronics in 2020. He won the Peking University Baosteel Prize for Excellence in Teaching in 2008 and the Peking University Prize for Excellence in Teaching in 2017. He has presided over more than 40 projects, including 863, National Natural Fund (2 projects), Beijing Natural Fund Joint Fund, and National Development and Reform Commission.

Prof. Min Liu

Hunan University

Professor Liu Min is a second-level professor at Hunan University and the Party Secretary of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. She is a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, a Young Changjiang Scholar, the chief scientist of a National Key R&D Program project, and a core member of an Innovation Group funded by the National Natural Science Foundation. She serves as Vice Chairman of the Hunan Automation Society, Director of the Key Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing Vision Inspection and Control Technology of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, and Deputy Director of the Membership Development and Services Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics. She is also on the editorial boards of journals like IEEE TNNLS. She has led two National Key R&D Program projects and a key project of the National Natural Science Foundation. As the first or corresponding author, she has published over 50 papers in journals including TPAMI, won the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress from the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics, the Second Prize for National Teaching Achievement, and five other provincial and ministerial-level awards.

Prof.Pablo Andres Arbelaez Escalante

Pablo Arbeláez is a Colombian researcher and professor of Biomedical Engineering at Universidad de los Andes, where he also serves as Director of CinfonIA (Centro de Inteligencia y Visión Artificial). He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris-Dauphine and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Universidad de los Andes.His research spans computer vision, artificial intelligence, medical imaging, robotic surgery, and biodiversity conservation. Arbeláez has received four Google Latin America Research Awards and was recognized in 2020 among the top 100 most influential AI researchers of the past decade, reflecting his sustained contributions to the field.His work at the intersection of AI and biomedical applications has established him as a prominent figure in Latin American AI research.

Researcher Vassili Kovalev

National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

Dr. Vassili Kovalev has been working in the field of biomedical image analysis for about 30 years. He has extensive experience in 3D MRI image analysis, 3D texture, quantification of normal brain ageing, and related neuroscience problems. Currently, his research interests are focused on the computer-assisted diagnosis of lung diseases and cancer diagnosis based on the whole slide imaging using Deep Learning methods. Administratively, he is a Head of the Biomedical Image Analysis Department of UIIP NASB.
